i'd still prefer a d-pad or better still a stylus than smudging the screen with a finger.

It's a kind of touchpad/analog D-pad hybrid. Like them new iPod controls. |

I think he mean Leds Flash for night/low light pictures or what SE call Photo light now.

It supports adobe flash lite and for the camera it has a photo light which means no xenon or photo flash but therefore just a LED flash. |
