hi,
my contact list has about 300 people and about 400 telephone numbers..
if i am changing my phone from k800 to k810, how can i take all those contacts to my k810?
i cant save the contacts to the sim and take to k810 because it can only hold 200 contacts and i will lose about 100 contacts that way...
can you please suggest any method? |

I assume that you have M2:
Go to contact-options-advanced-back up to M.S.
Put your M2 to your new K810, go to contact-options-advanced-restore from M.S. |

I have used My Phone Explorer to backup contacts, sms and so on.
So give it a try!

Or you could install your PC suite and sync the contacts on your K800 with MS outlook, then sync outlook with your K810 and get all the contacts transferred. That's how I've always done it since it is one of the purposes for the PC suite.

You can sync your phone on the internet also, for example at ZYB, it's free, asnd you can sync several phones to the same account. It stores al lphone numbers, calendar entries and saved SMS messages. It does not support pictures and individual contact ringtones though. |

Copy to memory stick will not function, hey use different types of memory cards, and the data record for the phone book entries ae diferent. I'm no sure that a bluetooth transfe willfunction either, due to incompatiilities between the phnebook entry formats. However, ZYB should function. Another method that would function, is to sync the phone with any kind of calendar and address book on a pc, and then do it again with the new phone. |
