"The delayed, revamped N-Gage client still isn't ready for prime time, but the First Access preview service -- which is just a little bit more functional than the preview shipping on some Nseries devices already -- has finally launched. The service introduces a full suite of social gaming tools (though with compatibility officially limited to N81s for the moment, that's a very small social circle indeed) and lets users download several game demos; Nokia promises that the service will evolve and expand as it ramps up for a full-scale release, so don't get too down on the lack of content and community just yet. Oh, and just a word of warning, downloaders: your data will get reset prior to the full-scale launch, so don't get too attached to your high scores, k?"

yeh works fine on my n95 8gb and i av bought the fishing game and space impact for £8 each an they both work very very well in full screen and very quick loading!
Love the fishin game!

i got it working on my dads n73me. but his work doesnt allow him 2 use the net on his phone. so i downloaded a demo on my pc. and sent it thru bluetooth 2 his phone. the prob is a cnt get it onto the app. i tried opening it. nothing happened. i tried moving it 2 the apps folder but it will only be bck 2 the my folders in the messages box. i luked all over the app 2 see if the was an import option. but i cudnt find 1. how can i put it on?. thanks |

you need to transfer it into the ngage app folder using the usb cable not bluetooth. once in there u can install the demo using the ngage app....
beauty of havin wifi on n95 8gb, can download the apps off ngage direct.

A mere day after the release of Nokia's N-Gage First Access gaming preview exclusively to N81 users, the app has been cracked open to work with any N-series device with enough horsepower. The hack was performed by Nokia regular P@sco, and comes in a convenient downloadable form, or an only slightly involved guide to hacking the app yourself. No rocket science here, and while we're sure Nokia could easily fight back, what we've really got to ask ourselves is why didn't Nokia just open it to everyone in the first place?"
