@island

@mib

Not 40+ gr, it is 54 gr (almost one extra phone), you suck at math

You are bitching about grams here. What's the matter...a few grams more is too heavy for you? You guys must be really mal-nourished?

I actualy have no idea why the SE Fanboys brought up the W910,my 1st post in this thread when i said Toy i was talking about W580,then NightBlade and Razec brought in the poor W910.

The N81 is faster than N95-8GB in certain things like App Manager, booting up, starting apps and booting the Music Player, although the N95-8GB is NOT slow in the 1st place but once you put it next to a N81 you will see quite a few differences in speed,and that N81 is faster. N81 has the 369mhz CPU whereas N95 has 330mhz so i guess the extra 39mhz makes a bit of a diff.

@Mib

Normally people refer to + sign on two digit numbers is for a few more gr like one or two gr more. 14 gr dif out of 40 gr is 35% more you know. In the case of w910 vs N81, the N81 is around 62% heavier. Your perspective sucks

Sorry to the thread starter as this is too much OT

@GUCCI

I and several other users of N95 8GB who moved from older SE A100 find symbian rather laggy. There are many times when I press a button nothing happens untill a second or two later which never happen in A100. I dont own N81 or W910 hence asking Thanks for the explanation

N81 is VASTLY too heavy for it's size and features, that's a plain, simple fact, don't confuse it with the infinitely superior N95/82 etc either.
5610 XM is a better bet for anyone wanting a music device, it shows all SE's the way to go home IMO.

Thats something you don't face with N81, ive had a A100, i had a W880 for a little while,and then got a N80 which was horribly slow sometimes, and then got the N81 last month and compared to a W880 this is just as fast. Ive compared N81 to my mates N95-8gb and what you described is what i faced a few times with his N95-8GB, especialy when installing a file above 10MB.
@ mweb
Yes the N81 is heavier, i found that strange at 1st before i knew what hardware was in it. AFAIK the 5610 offers a cheaper DSP than N81, although 5610 has brilliant sound quality the N81 is better. But 5610 is a great W910 rival,although SE java is more advanced than NOKIA JAVA.

Hi all,

Im suprised to know the w580 has better sound quality.

From Moto Rokr e8 Review

Tastes vary, so no clear leader can be defined in the competition. All of the latest XpressMusic, Beatz and ROKR phones offer comparable quality levels and begin to threat even the casual mp3 players which have been all about music since the day of their invention, just like today's top camera phones are about to compete with some of the smaller hand-held casual cameras. If you listen to one of these with your eyes closed, it's really hard to tell which one is playing. After listening for some time a SonyEricsson can be more or less verifiably distinguished from the rest of contestants for an inferior audio quality, the difference from the leaders in this case can be told with a little effort.

More or less agree with your comments Gucci, but something that both yourself AND the walkman fans have to appreciate is that the 5610XM costs peanuts (170 in the UK) but sounds great AND has the best cam in ANY music device!!

Very true, 3MP camera is not very common in Music Orientated phones, the only other music phone with a great camera is the W960. 5610 price is realy low for what you get, its a steal lol.

off topic but,

since you have said "music device!!" and not music centric device i would like to include K800, K850 imobile SO905iCS N95 8Gb and more which kills 5610's camera with no doubt. all the phones that i mentioned were music enabled

and i dont even think walkman's best 2 megapixels (W800/W810/W900) are inferior to 5610's camera quality especially when considering the fact that Nokia tends to boost colors exagerrately which sometimes ruins the naturality of the image not to mention 5610's sensor is smaller then the best 2 mpixels

@GUCCI,

i'd have to agree with you, a W960 boasts a decent camera, compared to all W-series phones. it's decent, but doesn't mean the best, but compared to other's W-series, it's quite good....
