ya, n81 is just so-so and the specs are similar to w910, why does it so expensive?

Apart from the more colours in the display, WLAN, the fact that it's a smartphone (S60) against feature phone (A200) and the better CPU / hardware, what features aren't pretty much equal?

I'd say W910 does one hell of a job compared to N81 and especially when looking at the prices.

Here is Esato's comparison and GSMArena's.

sony ericsson should come up with WLan/WIFI even the W950i lacked this.

good piont there... n81 cant be compared with w910, a symbian fone is alwasy over a simple java phone, even the last one has got a good cam and some music features... its pointless to compare... yes, maybe some aparts of the fw, but NOT in generally

cos n81 is a symbian fone. if w910 would be a smartfone, then maybe. but if go for a symbian fone, then i go for it in the first line cos of the os, not cos of the offered fun features. w910 is simple se fone, with the usually fun features, the cam, the w feature etc, but next to it nothing special ( maybe the design offers a bit differences next to the former se slider fones ). so the n81 with the endles possibilities thx for the os, makes a better option to go for it ( matter of taste of course )

The symbian OS isn't much of a big deal, really. I mean, yeah, wide program support and stuff, but still it's nothing special. The GUI, especially, is awful.

Your average joe doesn't care what the OS on his phone is and neither will he install additional programs ('cept for games).
For me, a smartphone should have office features and stuff. N82 is not a smartphone, but a simple Symbian phone. And even if it was a smartphone, still it would be suitable for comparison. Hell, everything can be compared.
