@Rishone

It works very well via Bluetooth, you might want to change the part with the USB Cable.

Thanks for this postings

@ares: I know that there are also ways for Bluetooth. But the basic problem is that MPE needs now 2 COM-Ports: The first one for general access and the second one is used from mRouter for syncing and filetransfer. Its not possible in all Bluetooth-Stacks to set up 2 COM-Ports and it needs some advanced skills from the user so i decided to write: Full support only via cable cause its easier to set up and it should work for everybody.

Thanks zillertaler.

Its amazing when talented individuals come together to make beautiful and simple to use software when Professional teams time and again make buggy crash-prone PC suites.

Cheers to you guys

@gregface: Sometime its helpfully to read the text above the downloadlink on my homepage instead of clicking on every downloadbutton without further infos. The PC-Suite has to be installed.

@hiddensphinx: Restart your PC and also your phone. Should help

I know that, give me some credit, it is installed, but will not connect either!

Using Vista,

I only have "Sony Ericsson G900 Application Port (COM4)"

Nowhere can I find "Sony Ericsson G900 Phone Connect (COMX)"

No new hardware messages appear when I connect my phone in phone mode.
Though I do have a "Sony Ericsson G900 PC-Connect Controller" in device manager under "USB controllers"

I don't know about vista. Is it fully compatible with UIQ phones when running on vista? It's working for me with my P1...

Make sure that M-Router, the thing that comes with PC-Suite is running. No need to have PC Suite active.

When I connect to MPE the first time, I always get an error (Phone cannot be identified). I have to disconnect the USB cable and connect it again. Only then I get the phone connected.

Once the connection is established, I can pull off the USB cable as often as I want, when I connect again, the phone is recognized immediately.

Another point: Did you do the initial setup ?(File->Options->Connexion->Find Phone (the button on the right above "OK"/"Cancel")

Good luck !
