The camera in the T650i and the K770i are exactly the same. There shouldn't be any difference between the two in their picture taking abilities.
One thing that can make them different cam quality wise was the imaging algorithm applied for both phones. K770 applies lesser noise suppression method to preserve details and let the user edit it with no problems in contrast to T650 which applies stronger compression and N-R to render the image as noise free and well enough for casual phototaking 
Yeah they share the same sensor size as well as lens but software can always differentiate the 3mp quality they hold

Its true that the imaging algorithm between the two phones can be different. But i've studied shots taken by both phones very, very closely, and i've seen no difference at all between the two. The K770i does not have better detail, or less noise suppression. As far as I can tell, they are both identical. I'm not saying i'm right, and until someone hacks apart the camera driver from both phones to see if there are any differences, i doubt anyone will know for sure. But all I can say is that I doubt anyone is going to be able to tell the difference between pictures taken from the T650 and the K770. |

odd, i tested quite intence yesterday (got an ancient s700 photo(phone) houlder) placed both k770 and t650 in it, taking various pictures of same object same distance lightning etc.
and i i'm realy shure k770 does take better pictures.
t650 pictures got some kind a glace over the pictures.
the quality of detail seems quite equal, sometimes just a couple pixels difference so no major gap here.
however with dimmed light k770 does take much better pictures.
ofcourse i can edit / finetune the quality with photoshop, but i don't want to do so with every picture i take with t650 |

I agree with you himlims_nl. I've noted the differences in the photo capabilities of the two phones. My conclusion was/is that the k770 was/is better than the t650.

i would rather go for the t650, at lesat cos of the design. k770 feels for me so cheap and imo its a lady fone

T650 black silver edition is the best imho it makes us nostalgic for the legendary T610

One thing that you don't seem to be noting is that the T650's camera is very exposed, sticking out the way it does. But the K770 has a cover to slide over it and protect it. If that matters to you (you want to keep the camera in good condition easily), then perhaps the K770 is a better choice. I love the T650's style, but I also think the K770 has a lot of class. More than something like a K800 or K850 even, in my opinion.

Wow  i didn't know that but judging by the experiences of samsung regarding slim camera module quality, i come to believe that K770's cam module produces better images than T650's

Don't forget to wipe the lens before taking shots on the T650i. Since its always exposed, it might be covered in fingerprints.
The K770i isn't in Flickr's database yet, so I can't search for pictures taken by it very well to do a good comparison. But I can speak from experience that the T650i takes exceptionally good shots in well-lit conditions. In dark areas you have to hold the phone *very* steady not to get a blurry shot. Thats a fault of the tiny aperture used in the lens - not enough light gets in. This applies to the K770 as well. |

or we should say no sony cam modules on the entire SE 2007 range except only for K750 and brothers, K800/810 and S700 even the K850 itself doesn't possess sony cam modules i bet. the quality really is not what we expect from a Sony imager |
