Most of free symbian stuff i get online wont install on my p1i....what could I not be doing right..gets the prompt that the phone does not recognise the format???????Any help will b appreciated.

You can only install programs meant for UIQ, not for Series 60 or other.

It is funny, but one guy has asked me why he cannot install ICQ on P1i, so I've asked him, what application is he trying to install - and his answer was - well Ihave downloaded ICQ from their web...
no cellphone...

dont look for free stuff.. Look for free stuff compatible with uiq..and remember, google is your best friend
