I'll vote for carkitter's entry on page 7.
I like the colours, interesting theme and didn't think the cameraphone would produce such a good pic to be honest.

Next month you should have it so if you post and enter a picture you have to vote by the end of the month who's is your favourite entry. This way there will be no arguements no the choice of winner. And everyone has an input |

I too, would like to vote for carkitter's. Honestly think its the best here. The others seem too typical of a water-themed photo competition.

I know it's not really the 31st of January yet - at least not here, but in order for me to get a good night's sleep, I'd better announce the winner of the first Monthly Esato Camera Phone Shootout!
The photos have been judged on sharpness / focus, colours, motive & creativity.
The winner of this month's challenge is....

With this photo taken with a V630
Why did I choose this photo?
The colours are very nice and the motive is by far one of the best this month, and somewhat of a classic, but the implementation of the mountains in the background look more calming than, say, a city. With regards to sharpness, it is very sharp in VGA resolution, which is the submitted size.
Other photos especially worth mentioning:

Shuroo's entry on page 3 (even though the resolution is too small)
Aldrinus' entry (second photo) on page 3

So, congratulations to Muhummad-Oli!
I must say that the decision was quite hard and I had a few photos to choose from. All not mentioned here - it doesn't mean that your photo isn't good, it just means that there were others that were better

Wow, I won! I didn't expect I would win after I saw so many great photos were entered! 
Thank you Mizzle! I think it turned out fine despite earlier problems (and not just because I won lol).
