Hi guys,

Im having a wierd problem with the auto rotate feature on my K850.
It worked fine at first but now refuses to rotate my pictures in the media player. However, if I load up the Marble Madness game that came pre installed, the rotate feature works fine (you control the marble by tilting the phone). This leads me to believe that the motion sensor isnt damaged.

Note: I have tried to set the orientation to portrait/landscape and back again in an attempt to 'reset' it in the media player to no avail.

Any ideas on how to get this sorted?

Thanks
nocky

in the media menu there is settings open that and then open Orientation Aouto rotate and make sure the tick is on Auto rotate, you could have it set on Portrait or landscape.

No problem with mine. check whether "orientation" under "media settings" is set to "auto rotate".

Ive tried that... it is set to auto-rotate and as noted above Ive tried setting to portrait/landscape and back to auto-rotate in an attempt to get the phone to use that setting.

@ Kaishu, can you enter the service menu and then see if the acc is working?

*>*<<*<* -Service tests/Accelerometer

If it is working you should see values changing as you move the phone. If there is no change take it to the service. If it changes try to hard reset. If no change than reflash. BACKUP before..
