Now I will try to understand you before trying to answer....
Toxic:
Well, i think u all got a little mizundastud.
There are 2 seperate problems:
(1) i want to unlock my own t68.
(2) the phone is not the locked part, the sim locks it.
(1) you want to unlock your T68 which (2) is, the phone, not the locked part. hmmmmm.
IF IT IS NOT LOCKED WHY DO YOU WANT TO UNLOCK IT THEN??????
I think you have one problem. You want BT to be working in your T68.
I cannot see any way of disabling a function of the phone from sim. BT is developed lot later than the any sim card standard we have. Has any one heard of BT lock?
But if this is the problem you may get round it copying your sim to clone one. There are sets to do this Main purpose of these are to put more than one sim data into the clone but it may solve your problem out. I presume.
The problem should be on the T68 and the version of the software. There must be a special version for Israel handsets. Be a friend with the technician at the SE service station. They can download any version from a central location. And then he can flash your phone with another version and you have your BT.
If you get any trouble with military or police I am not responsible.

Well nippit,
It's like this:
when i put a SIM which is not israeli in the phone, the BT works. when i put an israeli one, it doesn't. the BT option might be n-abled in the phones, but x-abled in the sim. meaning that there can be a slight problem with making a new software (we have a phone brought from outside israel, which the BT is locked when an israeli sim is inserted). and all i need to know is how can i disable it without modifying the sim.

Sorry again;
You are sure that the problem is the sim. You want to sort the problem without touching the sim. this sounds like egg and chicken.
Try copying the SIM then it may work but i have not tested this. All i Know is when copied the sim card menu does not get tranfered as it is replaced by the copy SIM. So logicak thinking this lock whatever should not get transfered too.
Hope it helps.

its a feature of the software in the t68i.... only way to get around it is to get a software from SE which does not have this feature... which you can't as its not availible as se would not be allowed to sell bt phones in israel without this feature....

Bluetooth is now legal and you can have your SE phones upgraded so they will work with Bluetooth.
Bagtel, a little shop at 113 Even Givriol St. in Tel Aviv can do the upgrade. I was referred to them directly from SonyEricsson. Their phone number is 03-524-7027. |

Hi John!
I've never heard that blue tooth is blocked in Israel. I am Israeli use bluetooth to download stuff from friends' phones and never had a problem. I have an Israeli bought phone and am with Pelephone an Israeli network - anyhow every body uses bluetooth that I'm aware of so problem is not with any Ministry order.
Good luck with your phone.
Daniel Eliyahu
In Israel phones are locked (due to the ministry of telecommunication's order) for bluetooth use. even if they were not purchased in israel the SIM locks this option. could you kindly let me know if you are able to fix this problem and make by BlueTooth work.
Jon.
