Speaking from my own experience: in Slovenia, the phone comes with an external bluetooth "Way Finder" GPS device (from the outside, it looks quite similar to other devices) and Way Finder GPS application.
The application is quite simple, to be honest, and I've previously had no experience with specialised GPS devices, so I cannot judge on the merits of its quality. I tried installing TomTom - it works flawlessly with the bundled device (and provides many more options that are not available with the WF application). However, the WF's user interface is much more in line with other UIQ3 applications. TomTom, on the other hand, works/looks differently, which is a bit confusing (e.g. pressing "shift + key" doesn't produce an uppercase letter).
Along in the package is a car charger for GPS. I must say that the external GPS has some advantages over built-in solutions: you can position the device on a more exposed surface, and keep the phone close at hand. Also, you can probably use it with other GPS-less phones  .
* I bought my package at Mobitel, the biggest mobile telecomunications provider in Slovenia. So far, I have not noticed any advertisments that would mention a GPS or GPS-less package, so I guess it is universially available, at least in my country. |

The bundled software is 'Wayfinder Navigator 7' and the bluetooth gps is a Royaltek RBT-2100 (SiRF Star III) and may look either like this

i am totally agree with you. When Wayfinder use data connection; then why shouldn't i use Google Mobile Maps which are more accurate and covered the whole earth and if you are at that place where maps are not available then you can switch to satellite imaginary. Isn't that great ?

I am from India,and i accept the fact that i find people in India generally are not as friendly as their counterparts in Europe or Americas.

I don't really understand SE on this one...
Why making such bundles with data connection dependent software? I mean, in some countries there are even NO 'unlimited' or real good data plans for mobiles 
It's the case in France. As an accessory they advertise for the "HGE-100" which is bundled with wayfinder
They should have make a bundle with TomTom or Route 66 (a bit like it could be done with P910i) and then people are free to use if they want another GPS software. Of course, it'll be more expensive. |

I think Sony Ericsson will come with it's GPS Phone or say Nav-U phone.
