Guys it's a separate GPS receiver bundled in the sales pack. The app runs for 12 months and then you will have to pay some subscription charges. As far as how well it works in India, I dunno. But last week I tried the Nokia 6110 Navigator and the maps were mind blowing.

Maybe it bundled with HGE-100..
Im using it with P1i and it works fine but for the Wayfinder apps its only for 3months trial and after that we must buy the apps.
From my experience using around the city (Jakarta), im very impressed! But i think you should using data package from the provider or else you will have big problem coz it wilI cost you lot of money (here we must pay Rp10/kb or USD 1.06/MB)

Maps are available more than 12 indian cities and if you use Google Maps Mobile then the whole country is covered.

WHY would one need data package? The phone does not use anything, its the GPS that connects to the phone and shows the position there on a map via bluetooth. Right?!?!?!

Sorry but you are both wrong Wayfinder works in a different way to other software like Tom Tom (Still my Sat Nav software of choice) Garmin or even Route66 and does use a Data connection for more than just Traffic updates.
Having checked the Wayfinder homepage it does indeed use Data as the route is calculated at the Wayfinder server and then sent to the device so unless you are on a unlimited Data plan it will incur further charges unlike the other Sat Nav software mentioned above plus it requires a subscription to continue working.
In fact I much prefer the fixed cost of purchasing my software and GPS receiver that the longer i have and use it the better the overall cost becomes.
You can get full details of Wayfinder here

Wow, that software sucks! I am sticking with TomTom
If you use traffice update with that one then you use data too. But come one, pure sat calculation and mapping should NEVER use anything but battery power!

I agree completely which is why i am also sticking with Tom Tom as have used it for a long time now and really can't see any advantage to even swap to Garmin as it would mean buying another software to do exactly what i have now. I firmly believe if it ain't broke don't try and fix it and am more than happy with Tom Tom and all it does for me so until something comes along that is seriously much better and offers a compelling reason to change i won't.
