Put my W810i USB cable in and attached phone. Chose the Phone mode option....
and my phone did not charge.
My friend did the exact same thing and his one charged...
Whats going on?

There's a setting in Settings where you can turn this off and on - check it out.

right icon at the bottom ( push # when u are in the main menu ). its at the connection settings as i recall

Can't see it... is it in accessories? if so... it says... (No accesories are attached to the phone)

Yes, it's somewhere in the Connections tab. Or is it in the service menu? Can't remember, to be honest

it can be also turned on in the ervice menu, thats right 
just go there ( use the joypad and the keys ) right * left left * left *

w810i dont have an option to turn on/off usb charging.
when i conect my w810i to the cable and select phone mode,the phone start charging.
try cleaning the fasport..

yeah that's what i had to do too. Turn the phone of and use an old dry toothbrush. If it's very dirty carefully apply a little cooking knife to "scratch" the dirt out. Does it charge with the normal charger? |

I had the exact same problem. Very annoying. I reinstalled the sony ericsson pc suite, and now it works again... Hope you get it to work! |
