Wow, the media menu implementation is mpressive. That same menu on the K850i is virtually useless to navigate because it performs so badly. Kinda wish I had one of these now (although I do love having HSDPA)!

hey one quick question to W960 owners: during walkman playback, can the keys/touchscreen be locked (so that the phone does not respond to any accidental presses on the screen, for example when putting it in a pocket)? if so, what's the key sequence?

I tried a W960 the other day and tried to lock by long-pressing the back key but all it did was to exit the Walkman application!

Thanks!

You can lock at the Today view or by autolock but not while on the Walkman screen (not that I've found anyway).

You can of course lock it in the Walkman player (also while playing music). Just press * and then the right soft key. Simple

Don't think £399 for SIM free it too bad to be honest. In reality it gives you everything the P990i did with far more RAM & user storage just loosing the keyboard (which I didn't want hence not getting a P1i).

I paid around £500 for SIM free P990i.

I also think some reviewers have been over critical of this phone. I think it's great but then I'm not big into texting & or needing top video recording quality (i.e. N95.....)

Touch screen input is far more important for me seeing as I've become an expert with JOT handwriting!!!

Awesome video! The new walkman interface looks great.

Can the volume keys (or any other keys) be used to switch music while the phone is locked? I find it a bit of a hassle to unlock my P1 every time I want to switch a track...
