I friends. I have Sony Ericsson K810i Cyber-shot phone. I am at India and like other Asian cities we don't have RDS from FM Stations. Can you post some pics of RDS in Action in your mobile ?

Thanks so much.

I am posting some pictures of RDS in Action for you all. It is always a pleasure to listen Radio In . Apart from RDS you can identify a song from Track ID. It is station independent. I mean in Nokia Visual radio you have to keep your GPRS On for a particular Radio Station that supports this service but here if you want to know the info just press the Button. UIQ Phones have more RDS Options. What is your Opinion ?

Is there anyone who can tell his or her RDS Experience ?

RDS just displays the station name, there's no sound quality related to it, or nothing to experience about it.

That's not completely true that it just displays the station name. RDS does much more than that, but the main thing and most important thing it does is that it automatically searches for the best frequency. I'll give you an example...

Here in Denmark we have many radio stations that are working on different frequencies accordingly to the different cities and such. So I can tune my radio at one station and then drive from one town to another while the radio station is still the same, even though the frequency is different in the new town. Don't know how much sense that made...
