I've had two new batteries in my K800i and when I charge them for the first time the screen flashes white (similar to when the phone has a corrupt ROM) and the battery does not seem to charge. When I put the old battery back it goes on as normal I returned the first battery because I thought it was faulty but the second one has the same problem. Any ideas?

Could be that they're incompatible non-genuine or even fake batteries. Also try updating your firmware just on the off chance it's a firmware glitch.
