well its pointless to answer the P990 question now, but still i would love a reply regarding that and their customer support

I will try to fetch a comment.

On a side note, weren't you the one to say that this was absolutely useless and not possible to do?

well for me, and i'm sure for many, the most important questions were the P990 ones and customer support ones. they're still unanswered, but if he does answer them, then what can i say.....*cough*well done*cough

WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!

"Innovation is at the heart of everything we do"

Then how come that everyone oldie on esato, and everyone with abit of insight says that SE is falling behind other company's?

"Actually you’re the first person I’ve heard say that we’ve been preoccupied with producing low level phones"

Unplug those earphones!!! Listen to what people with brains are saying and praying for!

i've posted it before on serveral forums and "warned" SE about it. Lose the old fans and telecom pioneers and you'll see SE and sony falling down in terms of sales, profit and marketshare.

I'm sure that after the rush of cebit many will come to realize that SE is no longer the best brand on the market.
Unless they can introduce an RX1 phone.
Something thats far beyond the X1 phone, i doubt if they manage to sell more then 1m of the X1.

I won't comment on that, bart, but can only tell people to ignore that post of yours to avoid further discussions, and keep to the topic.

a normal president would answer with such answers.
but a good one would admit the faults the company made and do a better job, not only promis but DO THINGS

for me its good bye 4ever, no more SE.

Thanks Mizzle for obtaining those answers; it's disapointing that SE views Shake Control and PlayNow Arena (the latter is disabled on VodafoneNZ firmware) as being as innovative as iPhones Web browser and Wifi capability and on par with N95's TV out, DVD quality video and 16m colour screen.

I also found it interesting that Mr Komiyama wants to give consumers a wide choice of phones and yet in New Zealand consumers have a poor selection of SE phones that arrive 3-6 months behind Europe if at all. Handsets we didn't get include K750, W900, K810, W580/S500, T650,
Z710/W710 and Z610. W800 and W810 arrived but never made it to a Vodafone shop - special order only I believe. I intend forwarding these comments by SE's president to SE New Zealand and Vodafone NZ to see what they have say about this.

Great news, this man is good

We did get the K750i and the W800i and they both sold in Vodafone shops, not under special order. I know this because I was tempted by both of them, but couldn't afford either of them.

But I could add many more phones to that list, and many to come. One thing that bothers me is that when they've gone way down in price overseas, we still have to pay a price as if they have just hit the market.

You're pretty lucky to have spotted a Voda branded K750/W800 in the wild! When I lost my K700, I went to buy a W800 and after looking at the dummy phone on display, the shop attendant said they had none in stock and none available at the supplier. I bought a V800 instead. Never saw the K750 in a Vodafone shop in Auckland.

I've met several owners of K700, V800, V630, V600, P990, Z600; none with W800 and one with K750 - an imported version.

Good point, I'll bring that up. I'm gonna research how far behind Voda UK we are first.
