I've got a 16GB one and think it's the best gadget I've bought in a very long time.

Especially when its hacked and has the iPhone email, maps, notes, weather etc. applications on it.

I'm really, really pleased with mine, so I'd say go for it.

Was thinking of buying one myself for the wireless internet over wifi.

Can anyone confirm if I can download files from the internet (game demos from fileplanet, pdf files, icq, etc..) anywhere wherre there is a "save target as"?
I am aware that I cannot view the files and will need to copy them to pc.

Does it have a drag n drop interface under windows (like sony mass storage device)
Thanks

it has no bluetooth, so no, and not even the iphone has a2dp.

With safari you cant download anything that is not supported by the ipod, so no wmv, zip, etc. You can however when you have it hacked open the terminal and do a wget of the file you want, and save it to the ipod. There is no drag and drop interface for any platform, since its totally locked to itunes. The drive on the ipod does not show up as a drive in windows or any other platform.
