Can anyone tell me if there is an option to turn this thing on or something because i cant seem to find out how to get it to work?

hold walkman key and shake where you want.. and it easy be done..

Well i don'T have one but can easily see the need to press a button. Otherwise if you run it would skip track all over the place

It's just a gimmick really. There was a video posted on here somewhere, I think it was a demo video for the W580i and you can't even see the person pressing in the Walkman button when shaking.

in my opinion, i think holding down the volume keys to skip tracks is much easier and faster than the shaking function =D

however the shake function is something good to show to friends. those who dont have an SE will be like 'WOW!!'
