Does anyone know which bugs have been fixed on the new firmware? And what exactly does it delete?
Dunno what has been fixed on the new firmware. But there is a new feature under Media Menu -> Settings called 'Update Media' which basically refreshes the media content in the memory card.
And it deletes all the personal data including your phone book if you have stored it on the phone memory. So be sure to back up your phone book, messages and other personal data you have stored on the phone memory to the M2. |

Can someone tell me how to find the current firmware in the phone?
Just bought the phone and been using it for almost a month now so the firmware should be relatively new and updated!
Thank you!

Menu->Settings->General tab->Update Service->Software Version.
This will tell the firmware version your phone has. |

That means that that some application is running. If we think the same. Click on the shorcuts key and look at running apps if there is something.

Hi everyone !
I am thinking of getting a W890i as my back up phone.
I can see a black Voda one at play.com £129.99 Free Delivery
I will go back and read all of this thread...
Would people here recommend it?
I have never debranded a phone before, even though I have been at esato for a looooong time. Is that easy too via seus?
Off to read this thread thoroughly....

@Ofiaich: SEUS does not debrand. It only updates software. If your phone is branded, then SE won't allow you to change that.
But you can be naughty and do it anyway via services such as davinci or totalgsm. They will cost you money, and they will void your warranty. Just so you know.

For debranding use one of the online flashing clients... TotalGSM or wotan... (totalgsm prefered). They seem to have the newest firmwares pretty early.
