Hi Guys,

Anyone here know when is the HBH-60 available in the market?
Nobody is talking about it now.. what happened to it?
Is it still in progress or has it been cancelled?

I'm considering HBH-30, but thought that I might as well wait for HBH-60 if it were to be out soon. Hopefully the price will not be too high relative to HBH-30.

HBH-60 will definitely arriving in Malaysia on 2nd Quarter 2003 or later. My advise is not to wait for it. Just get HBH-30 will do. Looks better than HBH-60.

I got the information from Sony Ericsson. Seems most of the accessories will be arriving late 1st quarter or 2nd quarter. SE in Malaysia afraid there is no demand.

Nope. I don't have a HBH-30 but I do have the HBH-20 which I preferred mostly. However, I've tested the HBH-30 in Ericserve, Amcorp Mall. It is as good as HBH-20 except HBH-30 clings on to your ear. Very clear reception and and stylish except pricy.

hbh 30 works fine....and it's small i.e., easy to loose....but the cool factor makes up for almost anything else.....it's retailing at RM799 at shops but can be obtained for RM600 (with warranty) from Paul at Item.com....shop's located in Summit...go check it out....

HBH-30 for me is the coolest looking BT headset...even over BlueSpoon (it looks like a hearing aid, so you look like your deaf or talking to yourself)

HBH-20 is a great idea... if I wanted the earbud handsfree, I'd have gotten that one.

I like the charging cradles of the HBH-10/15...I wish the HBH-30 had a cool looking cradle as well. :s oh well...

I must say my HBH-30 sounds absolutely great even in enviroment with some noise. It works 100% flawlessly and is very comfortable. I'm a bit worried about lifespan of the rubber piece though... Anyone have broked it?

shithappens,

Do u have any range problem with the HBH-30? I mean, i heard that the connection becomes bad/fuzzy anywhere more than 5m range.

I have put a small piece of adeshive transparent tape on the rubber at the collision point. It worked better than expected for 2 months now. No scratches since. However i have to replace it now-not a big deal.

If u have phone in pocket the range is not impressive. Maybe 2 meter, but that is never a problem for me, Phone visible on a desk and u have 5-7m range. BT is meant for SHORT distances...

@mooncake2: guess lin just answered most of ya queries....and nopr, i dun haf any problems with range/distances...like lin said, BT's meant for short distances...i usually haf the phone on my desk and wander round the office with the headset...anythin less than 7-8m is fine...even when i'm in another room (partitions made of composite material and is not solid brick wall)...and when i'm mobile, the phone stays in my pocket so no worries there.....summit i'm refering to is the summit in usj subang.....lemme just hunt round for his number.....will pm u once i find it.....

@linmajon: hey, that mean's u got the same scratch problems too huh??? wow!! for a mo, i tot i'm simply a rought user!!! great idea with the tape but i'm afraid it might leave a residue on the headset (rubber part)...u had it replaced??? just the rubber part u mean or the entire headset?? and how much???

Well, i have to replace the TAPE, not the rubber. I put the tape pretty quich when the problem appeared so it's still OK.
