Is there any new firmware for the USA?

I always go to this site http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P1i

but i don't think its updated.

For people who don't know, that site tells you if the firmwares out for the p1i in your country.

Why don't you switch over to world generic instead of staying on US?

Because I'm afraid that I'll mess up my phone.

Hi
I am tired of my CDA now! And looking in to change it with XS++ but I'm not sure what to change to. What CDA is GW? can i change only to 1 or 2 after the /

My CDA for now is 162024/78
Should I then change it to 162024/1?

Or is this somehow automatic in xs++?

I tried to find the answers here but either my search technic is bad or my eyes blind...

you can use XS++ to change your CDA to world generic 1 then update with SEUS. it's now fairly simple especially because the required scripts are contained in XS++ now.

warning: this will void your warranty.

Hi guys,
does anyone happen to know when SE is planning to release a new firmware? It would be nice to have a faster camera UI and compatibility with the SE GPS (HGE 100), plus maybe some UI tweaking (I realise that this would be a major upgrade but hey) and the general speed improvement thingy (even though my P1i is quite snappy now even ith the transitions on).

hi,

I just changed my CDA to HK (Hong Kong)
I did it with XS++, then update the phone with SEUS

The firmware is prob. not the newest comparing to other regeion. BUT the phone is definitely FASTER. and the touch screen is also more sensitive now.

the only downside with this firmware is the FONT. as you might have read, they are not Anti-alias. (but i have read theres a fix for it, just need to find it)

have fun with your P1i.

mike
