My W810i is about one month old and I noticed many little scratches on the coating. In sunlight they show up. Is this repairable under warranty?

I don't know realy
My phone is my "baby" and I blame these lens cleaning tissues (see pic.), they should'nt scratch the lens. There was a fingerprint on my lens so I made a clot out of one and cleaned my lens. About one week later in direct sunlight I spotted these scratches. I hope it can be fixed
made a clot like this

Thats because of the tissue same thing happened to me when I had my W800i. I change the entire cam unit. Should set you back by 20$ or less |

I never use those cleaning tissues. I always use the cloths you get with spectacles, they are much softer.
My W810i is over 12 months old and no scratches on the lens.

@bezzz:
those were monster scratches! hope they don't affect the quality of your photos.
this may be an overkill for the average person but i "modded" (sort of) my W810's back housing (changed into the w800's back!) since i really wanted to protect the camera lens.
try to see this link for details:

lately, i also changed the original chassis into the W800 altogether. so now i have in my hands a beautiful baby: my "oranged" W810 just wanted something unique, i guess
here are some latest photos:
ps:
abba is right, those cloths coming standard with eye glasses are definitely better since they are lint-free... i still have my cleaning cloth from SE that came in my previous K700i package. i also use a "really" clean and lint-free cotton buds to clean my phone especially the lens part.
hope these helps... cheers, mate!

Mine also has 3 small scratches but i donot bother about it. The picture quality is fine and has not undergone any loss in quality.

I will ask a servicecenter for help. I keep you all informed about the results. It is just done (scratches) by using this tissue as aksd had the same with his lens after using them.
As protection I bought this cover over ebay, a cameracover for W810i, it works perfect! (I hope that the repaircentre can fix my lens )

@bezzz:
that's one cool lens cover you got there, mate!
hope retailers here could also secure such for us local W810 owners here
with it's tiny size, it might get loose in the long run though. be very cautious and aware since it might be lost even before you know it
yeah baby, Walkman rocks!
cheers!
