correct me if i'm wrong... But it seems to be a dual slider. The guy was typing with side qwerty then shoot pictures using the vertical slider. Can anybody confirm that?
I remember an SE patent which slides on both horizontal and vertical directions

Thanks PK, so you have Paris, Shiho, this new thing maybe and a couple that nobody knows anything about. This is good news and we should all be excited.
This touchscreen thing shows a different type of design so SE are trying new things apart from the X1 and its WM venture. Lets hope these are released sooner than later. |

Looks like it has a slide out keyboard, a slide down thing for photos and a slide up thing for 3G calling. Is this all in the same device? This thing looks awesome, some real changes in design as opposed to the usual stuff. |

Interesting indeed.
It would be nice it if were a new X-series device.
I really like the X-series, but cannot go for Windows Mobile.
I was prepared to wait anyway, so I shall wait some more to see what this is all about.
This device, whatever it is, is huge. It looks more like SE's answer to Nokia's Internet Tablet devices. Is it even a phone?
ETA: I guess it is a phone since he's talking on it in the very beginning of the video.
This thing looks like pure SE. Hopefully it's some kind of X2. I'll be glad to wait for that.

SE never said Xperia is WM exclusive. Also, lets go back a bit...remember the UIQ roadmap???
Lots of UIQ devices this year...but we only know about 4 (g700, g900, paris and beibei), so...
Also, like it was said before...where is W960 successor??? Well, what do you think this is???
Finally...the X1 is already a powerfull multimedia device with WM...do you guys think they would announce ANOTHER similar device, again with WM, this year??? |

Oh, I know it. It's not exclusive to anything.
You (or maybe m-one) also said UIQ4 was to be announced late this year/early next? Perhaps this could be the first phone of that range too?

UIQ 3.3 that not mean the device has to be "underpowered". Its direct equivalent of what Nokia is using in N96, etc

Well, right, and I was editing my post to reflect that but couldn't form it into words.  So I just took it all out. So now your post looks weird. 
Also, the product video is very Xperia-esque with the multi-colored stuff going on. I realize that's probably just coincidence since the video is two years old, but I thought I'd say it anyway.
Also, about that...the video is two years old...but the conference just took place? Right?

Wow I'm away for some time and such a major leak. Looks awesome I hope there are more leaks of it soon or some other devices ( I know that is really much to ask  ).
So this is gonna be a multimedia device just the thing that I have been waiting for. |
