I think it looks great! That's a huuuuge improvement on the cheap and nasty looking G705! And the plastic bottom is no different to what they normally do. Think P1. Think W890. Think very bottom of the W880. Think the back of the C902. I think it looks nice and I'd rather have plastic where I'm going to be holding it than cold metal.

Couldn't live with the iPhone. I'd have to have a second phone for texting and sending picture messages.
Anyway, I'm not sure this event on the 23-24 Sept is a Global announcement. Are we aware of anyone who has been invited?

Looks good but full metal jacket would be better I think.
The specs are the same like g705 so i will take the w902.

if it is full metal, everyone will start complaining this phone have poor reception or a lot of noise during call.
there's a lot of work still need to do to really achieve...full metal phone.
i also hope it can happen but for now we are stuck with such approach due to the nature of radio wave etc..... |

I'm still intrigued by this 'event' on Tuesday. It must be something big, they wouldn't invited Key Media players up there just for a meet'n greet surely.
