when you use any sub folder e.g Multimedia, Control Panel, File Manager and then click back with the arrow button on the top right hand corner of the sceen it goes to the main menu and if you click it again control panel comes up, click again main menu again and so on, i can never get back to the front page of the phone, only way to do it is use the back button on the side of the phone, anyone else have this problem,
thanks for reading

I just didn't think that the 990 was enough of an upgrade, that and it cost a fortune and everyone was complaining about the state of it.

So whats the problem with your camera?

Can't say i've noticed that, will have to try and see. I believe several camera issues are due to be addressed in the forthcoming firmware update. Not sure when it'll be, but I'd expect it around the time the w960 is released.....

Have you noticed the green tint from the camera yet?

i have noticed it yeah, its so weird why dont they see these problems before sending the phone out,

i have been looking into this back space question i asked you earlier, click on control panel and then try going back,
i tried the same way u did and it worked ok, and soon as control panel is running it starts again, have a look,

Abit OT but i was wondering, does upgrading your firmware wipe out your phone settings? Or does it still preserve everything?

yeah when you update the firmware all your setting and everything is deleted, so back up the phone before doing a firmware update,

Ahhhhhhhh. I finally get what you are saying...... Yes it has happened to me sometimes too. The problem you are describing is a result of the order in which you open the apps, the back button (on the side or on screen) will move back through the sequence of apps, rather than going up a level in the menu structure. I have seen this behavior with the hardware button also. I find simply holding the hardware back button to return directly to the standby screen then solves this.
