Well i'm positive that you easily can put the glass back if you have removed it carefully in the first place. I removed my glass and i don't have any regrets whatsoever. No more cleaning the glass every fitheen minutes and no more worries about dust!
I also use the krusell classic case so my phone is well protected.

There you have it, another user who has no regrets, and fullforce - please tell all those who doubt, that the shutter below is made from a HARD plastic!

Well i havent tried to press the plastic cover or bash it but i really think it can stand ordinary usage equal to the cover of a ordinary camera lens. But what would the lens cover be made of if not hard plastic? Cloth or a piece of rubber?

Funny. My K750 had dust under the faceplate (between the LCD-screen and the faceplate. This coupled with the dust destroying the joystick. Makes the K750i also problematic.

I guess that's what happens with this shit is made in china. It becomes crap.
ANd it gets worse! Last Moonday i buy a K550i and guess what... The bloody thing's camera doesn't focus at all. And this is brand new. Ericson used to build rock solid phones The T39 was great, hell even the T68 was great (in fact I still have that in fully working condition apart from the batery after all those years). In fact the only SE phone that didn't give me problems was the phenomenal T610... and then they started building the things in china. It's getting from bad to worse with every new SE phone.

This sucks. I guess soon I HAVE to go to Samsung to get some decent phone-calls.

wHAT phones are also very good out there in terms of camera, i dont reckon much to the n95.

Can anyone tel me if the build quality has improved on the newer k850i than the ones that were out when first released last yr.?

T-mobile are offering to replace the handset for either different manufacturer or another k850.

Have you considered to apply a portion of a screen protector upon the rear speaker opening (where the dust make its way under the camera's protection)?
It can be a good solution???

The amount of dust between my lens and glass cover is ridiculous.

Does anyone know if the newest builds of the phone also suffer from the same problem?

Has anyone else removed the glass cover, I'm worried that i'd end up breaking the inside.
