NOTE: if anyone is having issues with any applications not installing in WinXP (any SP) I suggest the following; related to .NET install issues or apps relying on it.

* SP3 is overrated in WinXP; system wide search is horrible and if you really need it time to upgrade to Vista for a better implementation.

Now ....

1> Goto Microsofts site and search for "Windows Install Clean Up". Be careful with this as once its installed, and you run it from Start> Programs> All Programs ... it'll give you a listing of EVERY software installed on your machine. The description is a bit off so DO NOT select all apps; ONLY SELECT the ".NET" installations and remove them.

2 Close the Windows Install Clean UP.

3. Download the redistributable of .Net v2 (minimum) or go directly to v3.5 and install.

4. Then try to Install any application that you needed .Net for (I needed it for SE Media Manager v1.1).

Sorry off topic but I really needed this for Audio Feeds .

DarkKnight; thanks for a GREAT thread and sourcing tools! Been an EXCELLENT help!

M3 has a bug were it will crash if it can't connect to it's homepage at startup

This page is down now so if you disconnect from internet and start M3 it will work fine and you can then reconnect the net whilst it's running

Hope this helps!

You can get M3 here as well:

As coolmore wrote you need to either disconnect from the internet or a better alternative is to block M3 from accessing internet in you firewall settings. Then it works!

As an alternative, you may let your firewall block M3 from connecting to the internet. That will solve the problem.

I use Total Video Converter for movie conversion to MP4 format. I don't have any problem with lags in video and audio when played on my W910i.

1. Select Mpeg4 Video format
2. Customize the settings using these configurations:

Audio:
- Codec: Auto
- 32000/44100Hz
- 96-128 Kbps

Video:
- Video codec: MPEG4 (do not use XviD or DivX or you will experience delays)
- 320x240
- Bitrate 200-500 Kbps depending on amount of motion in the video
- 20 fps
- Tick 'Activate high quality settings'

Possibly very simple fix for choppy video on W910i:

I was trying to play some TV shows I had reencoded with Jet Audio, but suffered from massive audio synch issues. After trying to reencode over and over several times at decreasing bit rates, with limited success, I finally found one single phone setting that immediately made synch perfect:

With the video running, open Settings -> Video size (freely translated from danish interface) and select Original.

That's it.

I *think* a realtime scaling of the video is otherwise taking place, even if it shouldn't be necessary (coming from AND going to 320*240), and that this is just a bit too much for the processor to handle.

Waisting time to use M3 and have to face a problems regardings .NET
Why don't yot guys try converting with AllOk converter, it convert video very nicely with userfriendly gui and it can also convert audio too.
Before using this i once use M3 but then i found Mpeg4DirectMaker so i dump M3 cause M4DM do the job more smooth, after i found AllOk i dump M4DM too cause this one is very reliable...
