this is not a new product line from Nokia. This is the latest in the line of N770 followed by N800.
Like its predecessors, its also not a mobile phone and has no GSM or 3G capabilities built in. You access the internet using wifi or via bluetooth through a mobile phone
so there is no real comparison to HTC at all except for the look, perhaps

I rather enjoyed using my N770 and I do think the ability to use a larger screen, but only when needed, is a definite plus
but yeah, I'd be surprised if Nokia continue this line given the capabilities of current devices like the HTC's and reducing prices of UMPC's.
