In my case, my seller gave them phone on 3rd evening but this info was only updated in the status on 5th. May be there is delay in displaying online status but surely they might have info. Nevertheless it is better to confirm this from shipper himself.

@TheNerd,

Most couriers will not move parcels during weekends unless you pay extra for this. Yesterday 29/10 was a Sunday. Today you will probably see something happening with your shipment.

@Aware,

Why don't you order from eBay like the rest of us have done? I recommend seller penthaitrading.

BTW, did you notice in the review at mobile-review that they used a second i-mobile 902 for all the shots of the phone? Look at the reflection in the display:

and the reflection in the portrait mirror:

In this photo it's even more clear:

I looked at these images so many times never noticed the reflection before. they had so much faith in this phone that they didn't find any need to have a dedicated camera, nice find!. Can they even think to do same with k850i or n95 for their reviews?.

Because, due to lack of prototype availability, I've just had to fork out a fortune for a K850, just to work on flashing support(wouldn't even unseal the box otherwise)...so I'm a bit skint right now! Hence why I offered SaLiH a PX, the 850 will never have a sim card in it while it's here......

Plus, I don't like the prices, they haven't even changed since I started looking last christmas(best price I found was £106, back in Feb), you'd think there'd be some cheap second had ones too, with the amount of people who say they're rubbish......

And...thankyou! Someone finally saw what I did!

And no, I've not seen another device used to capture itself(except N93 videos of N93), since......

The seller I bought my phone from has dropped his price slowly, about 20 USD in four months. If you wait eleven more months then maybe you can get one for free (almost).

"Rubbish": back in their own market, people are not impressed with i-mobile's products. They say that the phones tend to break very soon. If my phone breaks I think I'll just buy a pocketable P&S camera, like something from Sony's T-series. It's a shame that M-R were wrong about SE's plans for this CCD sensor.

Guys, I decide to sell my 902, and then I take some photo, and realize that I won't be able to take not even close photo with any other future phone I buy, and that's sad. I regret buying the phone, because if I didn't bought it I wouldn't know what I'm missing. .

@aware
Sorry for not replying to your PM about the phone price, I would sell it to you if I don't have to send it by post, because in my country taxes are really high. I found a guy who's gonna buy it from me here, and with that money I'm planing to buy some SE phone K800,W810,K550 and a compact digital P&S camera, because once you try i-mobile 902, you won't be able to use any other phone as a dedicated camera.
I also saw that reflection the first time I saw that review. I think I actually first heard about this phone from that thread of yours, and then started searching everything about it. Here's what I found before I finally decided to buy it:

(AbuBasim, broke his phone and messured the sensor size and found out that it has a size like this real digital camera http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Canon/canon_sd450.asp )

http://rapidshare.com/files/46551056/MOVE0012.avi.html
(video sample here)
Maybe it can help someone who's still not sure about buying the phone.

@AbuBasim The reason I'm selling it is because I fear it may break, or stop working in a year, also because, on of my friends ordered the phone when she saw it from me, and here phone freezes constantly from the day one. i also have the problem with connecting the phone and the PC, I can't connect it anymore, when I connect it it says:

USB Device Not Recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem click this message.
So it's the usual message you get when something is wrong with USB device.

I'm also very sad that SE didn't put this sensor in at least one of their models.

they did remember the S700?

I think the reason why SE could hardly produce cam phones with CCD was that it is ericsson and not sony that makes all the phones sold in the international market. i remember S700 being the first and only handset manufactured by Sony alone and SE put their company logo on it. and suddenly i came to believe that it's not Sony to be blamed of those poor technologies utilized by SE but it SE itself that must be blamed. One proof was that in Japan, SE phones are very different and was very powerful, ranging from phones with long bravia screens, DSP soundchips and more qualitative cmos camera sensors. but outside japan where Sony has not absolute control of the marketing we see K850 with poor sensors, W960 with weak constructions and W910 with poor speaker quality. but if Sony would even put their technologies at an absolute level on european SE phones the story would be different anyway

^^just my 2 cents worth, sorry for being off-topic

SaLiH: i advise you wait for a while if you look for a CCD powered SE phone. i'm sure there will be soon

Do you recall me warning about this? Now you will have to settle for less photo quality when selling your 902 and buying another camphone. Also recall that I broke my first 902. This was not due to quality-issues with the phone but an accident during disassembly. And I bought one more 902 instead of buying another type of phone. And I still feel that the LG KG920 could be a good replacement for the 902. At least one guy said the same at HWZ.

Regarding your USB problem: I also get the same error message when I connect the phone to my office laptop but I can still access then phone's memory and memory card.

@abubasim I remember, and I feel like this, I mean you exactly described how i feel now.
''Be warned! If you buy this phone, it will poison you. You will love the camera but feel that something is lacking from the rest of the phone. But due to the large difference in quality between the camera in this phone and all other phones on the market, you will feel unable to use other phones again. So you will be stuck!''

And regarding my USB connection, it was the same with my phone in the beginning, but then one day it didn't show any drives when connected to PC, nor internal nor external memory. Luckily I bought mini SD card reader before I bought the phone. The guy I'm selling it doesn't mind about USB connection because I'm gonna put my Card Reader in the package.

One more thing about 902 is that the package of the phone looks great, and the phone itself is not perfect, but then again, no phone is perfect.

I also considered LG as my replacement, because of the quality build, and almost the same CCD 5 MP camera, but I decided not to buy it because of it's battery life and, poor player and not to forget the price which is still very high, even dough the phone is on the market for some time, now.

@razec, I remember S700, the best camera phone back then, I was referring to the new line of SE phones. I'm planing to buy some SE phone (W810 again,K800/10, or maybe K550/W610) for now, until they finally release another CCD phone, it doesn't have to be 5 MP. it can be 3 MP.

SaLiH, respect, and thankyou for the consideration!

I'm glad you've found someone local if it is that prohibitive to export the device(even though I wouldn't care about the USB problem, I also have a card reader)! Looking here at the still-sealed K850 in front of me, I know which I'd prefer to have...and of course, it's not the SE......

I will find one(if I'm lucky, it'll be already in the UK, too), but while I'm Still searching, do please keep up the pictures!

Yes, indeed taxes in my country are really high, when my phone arrived I had to pay 55 euros more, even if I payed the postage on e-bay. So I assume I would have to pay even more if I send something, especially to UK. I have cousins who live in Oxford, and when they send me something taxes are high. Hope you'll find good offer on e-bay, I bought mine from miti5985, because he offers another battery as a free gift, plus a sony headphones, and 1 GB micro SD card. It arrived in 10 days, by regular post, so I think that's fast, because I live in Bosnia & Herzegovina, which is really far away from Thailand.

I'm glad you decided to buy 902, but I'm gonna quote abubasim once again because he said it perferctly:

Be warned! If you buy this phone, it will poison you. You will love the camera but feel that something is lacking from the rest of the phone. But due to the large difference in quality between the camera in this phone and all other phones on the market, you will feel unable to use other phones again. So you will be stuck!
Keep your T650 as a back up if you have enough money to buy 902 without selling your T650.

I'll post more photos tonight inshAllah when I come home from university.

p.s. hope those links were helpful.

Thanks; I already have half those links bookmarked......

Oxford, you say?? that's only 15 miles from me! I hope you get to visit them sometime, we'll have to hook up!

And in fairness to I-Mobile, I expect the Sony module costs as much as the rest of the phone put together(including firmware), considering they're smaller than SE, I wouldn't expect a 250mhz processor, accelerometer or anything like it...it's just a camphone, with the right emphasis - on the cam! Although they still manage a 16m colour screen, which SE can't......

Don't worry, I'll find one......

Well, my cousins are calling me to come since forever, but I don't have time because of my university activities now, I study English by the way, but when I come to UK, maybe on winter holidays, I'll sure call you.
