If restart doesn't work, possible solution is flashing the phone with some of the online clients. But that is not free...

The latest version of SEUS has been able to fix BRODs as long as Before the BROD you are offered the option to re-install the firmware (you already have the latest, do you still want to reflash?) That is why the latest version of SEUS warns you Specifically that the phone Will be wiped of all user data.

Now we're talking about brod again
Maybe I should add this: K850 get exclusive feature that other phones didn't had: brod.
I'm proud of K850

ahh.. finally, SE knew their problem.
^_^
They were expecting that the 209 Mhz processor they used is enough, but they did not expect the touch sensitive buttons need more power than that.
So, iI'll wait for their new firmy then... |

Hahaha it's special feature... Maybe they should rename it to K850 - BROD edition. :D

Yeah, there's this BROD edition and normal edition, ^_^'
Bad thing is, you wouldn't know which edition you might be using unless until BROD strikes.
Pretty scary, huh? |

Well that's the irony - point of having the K850... Many people are advicing others to buy K850 but I don't think it is good idea. It wuold be better if we could recognize if we are buying standard or BROD edition hahaha

With the 3 I have, I have gotten brod on one of them but this was due to a bad battery. The other 2 are still running fine, with no real issues. So I guess its the luck of the draw with the brod prone versions. I would tell someone else to purchase this phone most definitely.

Well, I never experienced BROD, but I had the D-PAD and TOUCH SENSITIVE BUTTONS problem which sent me straight to repairs. Good thing there was the one-year warranty.
And I know I'm not the only one who had that problem before. |

Well the touch board buttons problem is as common as BROD in some K850s... I think that's hardware problem.
