The result, as fas I can take, is positive - nothing to lose. Strange thing is my phone achieved as high as 980 in Jbenchmark2!! |

from this photo it seems that R1EA037 is a downgrade and not an upgrade |

@IVA SE
what iso did you use with it? I always use iso 100 to avoid overburn. |

whoah. tried auto with flash and surely is blinding white. 3.7 driver does not calculate light exposure pretty well.
Better use iso 100 until new firmware...
or wait for xs++ 3.2 for modification... |

Are you sure the light sensor hole on the back is free from dirt?? Sometimes flashburn results because the sensor hole is not clean... |

Weird. Mine does not have flashburn and I'm running on R1EA037 with 3.7 camera software.

Iva_se, while a good test, it's not scientific. Unless you were using the same phone and rolled back the driver back forth, the potential of different variables effecting the outcome is too great when using two different sets of hardware. Can be the flash, the sensor, build date, etc. I have compared my phone's pics to another k850 of the same fw in a similar test and they contained noticeable differences as well, albeit not to the extent of your test but they existed nonetheless. |

tho most problem is the sensor for the light. Dust make it black an the cam make a pucture with the light.

btw, you cannot rate "flash burn" when only using 1-3 surfaces. You must use a few more to get a consistent result. The finish of a surface is very key to evaluating this, no?
