thank god I didn't update to RDA038(don't even know if it's available to me), reading all the reactions about this 038 firmware doesn't even want to make me go update it. I'm fine with the 037 version on my phone, no problems here I guess. yeah well sometimes my volume doesn't work anymore. I'll just wait until they release this new version.

and btw I'm over in holland on KPN Network, don't know if 038 is available.
I don't know, it's not all bad! Certainly on mine it's made a vast difference - hardly any random reboots and it no longer crashes almost every time I try to access Gmail, etc. Definitely a much better version from my POV but if you're problem free with 037 then sensible to just stick with it!

Argh, the new firmware is making my phone even worse.

Now it will just randomly turn off if i havent used it for a while. Not good considering i use my phone as an alarm for the mornings. This never used to happen with my 029 firmware.

Anyone else have that problem?

Turning the phone off shouldn't make any difference for the alarm since it should power it back on to sound off the alarm. If it doesn't than the phone has not just turned off but rather crashed. Give it a try - set an alarm for 30 min from now and if the phone does its random shut down, see if powers back on to sound off the alarm. Not saying that it should power off on its own but at least if it is doing that and the alarm is still working you don't have to worry about that. Of course missing phone calls would be very annoying if your phone turned OFF and you didn't know...

Damn, I was surprised. You can import RSS saved addresses from OPML file. Nice

I've made it!
I've discovered how to make you battery status to show 100%. I've just charged my phone thru the usb in phone mode and when i've removed the usb cable, after a few hours, it shows me 100% <:-P

my K810i showed 100% battery even after some hours.. but my K850i always shows 99% battery after 100% charging. I think it doesn't make any difference. and its battery time is better than that of my old K810i.

Hey guys,

Another bug to add to the list on 037.

Set your brightness level to anything under 100%.

Go to standby, and fire up the camera. Exit the camera.

You will see that the original brightness settings are not conserved. Go into your options and move the bars higher or lower and you will see the difference.

I don't have it on my 037 unbranded ADRIATIC. I keep the brightness to 60% since I bought my phone and it stays that way after I use the camera.

On mine it does and I have the same version and customization like yours.
I think by standby @obentou means that the phone is without the keys locked.

My phone has the same problem, (037), but it has with 029 too. I know it since Christmas, since I have the phone. because I use it with 50% lighting. After you use the camera, it remains at 100% lighting,
-untill the light is modofied in the settings
-or until the lighting and screen switces off
then next time when it lights up, it will use the setting before (50% lighting for example.).

@DURAN
Me to...
I've never got 100% when charging the other way but what can I say?
Yes it's a minor bug and sincerely I will "try to live with it" if this will remain and be only bug in the new firmware...
Btw, the battery level is worst that on my ex-K800i. About one day difference.
Let's hope that SE had learn something form this phone experience and will never release such a buggy firmware.
