Well i have an unbranded phone too(i live in Sweden) and i guess we have to wait at least two more weeks. I really hope it's a major update that fixes/betters camera drivers, the damn java problem, DOESN*T mess up the battery life(rather improve it) and the music player. So i hope this new firmware update isn't like the one that folks that have branded phones has gotten. |

Normaly we won't have access to the 038 update, but we will directly have the major update.
On the non official SE blog, we can see that the major update is released since de 12 january to the 20 in north europe.
Wait and see. |

I know, the price table is a bit strange because there's no cross at "Unlock / DB2020".

yeh i found the table confusing too, it doesnt say debranding on the table it must come under flashing.

im just wondering where you got your phone from? in the usa, or some where else?
you said earlier it came in a TIM branded box? But your customization is APAC/ANZ (australia, asia (i think some parts) and new zealand) so i find it very strange to have come in a TIM branded box, since TIM phones dont usually come from that region........
does your phone have any TIM shutdown or startup screens, or menu icons? any physical branding on the phone?

I have exactly the same problem, i recently updated to the 038 and the phone is ignoring the default contacts option (which is set to phone contacts) and is showing the sim contacts. Can anybody help?!

As I have thanks God a bug free K850 I wanted to know if the BIG FW that's coming those few days will boost the video recording quality?
It's weird to have such difference between 320*240 and the n95's 640*480 when both are in 30fps,will SE boost the video bitrate(at least 3x)?

My k850i is also kinda slow (FW 37) but I have another problem as well. If I enable the Mega Bass, the sound quality becomes very poor :/
Will this be fixed in the big update?
When updating the firmware, why does the battery have to be completely full?  |

Just becouse of the risk you run out of battery during the update and mess you phone..... if you have at least 90% is aceptable... |

i find that megabss option and bass option doesnt have any difference..
037 firmware here....
any idea when that performance firmware will be released...
