Cell phones can have a standby clock if they have TFT screens. Having a TFD screen has nothing to do with it. It's just the nature of the LCD that the K850i has which makes the standby clock "invisible".

Well i'm on firmware -37 and i have the "operation failed"-problem so i'd say that there more issues then just trimming the camera in the old firmware! But i do hope that the camera gets better and that it's possible to make the camera able to get better shots even if you're not holding it perfectly super still!

I have just flashed my K850 with 038 firmware from Da Vinci Team. I used the Vodafone branded firmware on my unlocked/unbranded phone as I'm on vodafone in the UK and the unbranded firmware would not connect to Vodafone live or Vodafone Mymail. It seems there are some certificates on a voda handset that it needs to work! Anyway new firmware seems OK. No issues yet but if anyone has any questions about 038 let me know and I will test it on the phone and let you know.

@plankgatan, What do you mean by stopping at 59%?

Funny, I did the same with my K850. Wanna know why? Because the firmware files downloaded with EMMA have 2-3 parts and the K850's first part is 59% of the file size. There was also a problem with the 2nd part, so I didn't succeed with me either.

Oh, and you can't DPY flash K850 or any other non-smart phones for that matter. Only a selected amount of smart phones can be DPY flashed.

Alot of people on hear are saying that they are getting java applications error or failures.

If you are getting these then the only way round this is to complete flash the phone by going back to a local SE service center.

The SEUS doesnt update all the phone only parts of it (What ever SE has changed), If you are already getting a failure like this, SEUS doesnt see this error and so it will still be there after updating.

Alot of the Java problems started in R1CA029 due to a script error, R1CA037 did resolve most of the script error.

However if you updated from R1CA029 and went to R1CA037 and had the original fault, then the fault will always follow the phone

Hope this makes sense
