What makes this phone VERY special is its price when you buy it with the camera. It is also very similar to the T68i which continues to be one of the best GSM phones worldwide. It is loaded with features and since most of the hardware and software come from the T68, they are well tested and should not break down (like ...you know which brand!!).

The menu is identical to the one of the T68i. The poly sounds are quite loud (not very loud) but produce nice high notes (treble) which makes them very audible in noisy places and in pockets.

Yes the polyphonics ringtone are very good! It rocks! Regarding about the size, it is quite the same as t68i just that it looks big as it does not have a shape.

nookiehunter,

I'm not sure which Samsung you're referring to but the phones that I know of only have 16 'voices', whereas the T300 has 24 voices. This produces a more realistic-sounding ringtone.

buggy,

The T300 certainly does have the battery indicator on-screen. And as far as the battery type goes, it's a Li-Polymer Battery BST-22 (650 mAh, li-ion).

The remaining talk time and remaining standby time have gone from the status menu activated from the volume slider on t200 and t300

The battery of the T300 is actually 700mah. It is probably made of the same elements as the ones of the T68 but these elements are molded to a slightly different shape. This is the major advantage that the LiPol materials provide.
