I still use my T237 (north american version of 230) and T300. The communicam attachment is excellent, much better picture than the T610. Also flashed the T300 with T310 firmware and response time improved greatly. |

Well...the vga cam of the communicam beats the t610 cam any given day.

i just bought a sony ericson T290i..But somehow it got locked. When ever i try to use it wants to be unlocked first. How can i unlock it in an easy way?
Can anyone help please? |

Hello
I am new to the forum. Just recently bought the SE T290i and it is a great phone. The problem lies within polyphonic ringtones. First i tried uploading them and they did not work. The i updated the program and the uploaded ringtones are playing. Now the problem is that i uploaded the same ringtone to my older T310 ( 32 channels ) and the ringtone there is 500% much better than here at T290i ( 32 channels ). Is there something wrong with the phone. I brought it back to the store where they replaced it with a new T290i but the problem persists.
What needs to be done??  |

That was strange? Have SE change the midi interface somehow?

Sometimes the midi itself is out of spec and will play strange, like missing some notes and make it sound funny or just wrong. I had this problem with a song which plays fine on T300 but not the T237. I had to edit the midi file, using some free midi editing program. You also need music knowledge to know which notes to remove/add.
But if the complaint is that the song sounds more realistic and less robotic on one phone than the other, then there is nothing you can do.

My t290i can not browse html light of esato. Displays UNABLE TO SHOW THE PAGE. Why so? Is that the case with all 290?

Ok and now its my turn to ask something about my new t290i. Do you know which is the latest firmware revision se has released for this phone? Mine came with r7a and i d be glad to hear that there's a new one as i've discovered some serious probs. Thanks

Well if yall didn't figure out o to delete the predefined items as yet jus use the 13sec trick! Go to reset all on ur phn an reset it. Wen it starts to reset count to 13 an thn take out the batt quickly an thn wait 3sec b4 turning the phn bk on. They all shud b deleted after tht.

Hi im new here i just wanna know what type of audio type does a SE T230 take. I have FMA and a usb cable but i cant remember if it is .mp3 .mid or what. Can anyone help me thanks in advance, Kaela

Well the only audiofile T230 can handle is *.amr and is related to wav, i think, but more compressed.
And the other is midi.
