seriously i have been using sony ericsson for more than 2 to 3 years but i was wondering are all sony ericsson mobile phone quad-band. so if its gprs 1800-1900 or 3G umts .does that mean there quad or triband how can you tell. |

Tri-band plus 3G is not quad-band, a quad-band phone has 4 GSM bands.

W660i is not quad-band, it's tri-band plus 3G.
W810i is a real quad-band, without 3G, though.

W660i and T650i both are tri-band phones with 3G, they'll work perfectly in Europe.
As for the USA : they'll work in large areas, especially around cities, but not nationwide, as they both miss the 850 Mhz frequency-band, which is used in some areas in the USA.

K850 isn't just quadband GSM but triband 3G too.

Z525
W850 and V640 do not support 850 MHz according to GSMArena. Does that still make them quad-band models?
Edit: V640 does indeed support 850 MHz according to SE. But not W850.
