parallax error refers to the way a non-SLR optical viewfinder frames the image at an offset compared to the actual image that falls on the sensor or film.
In an SLR, or a digital camera with lcd viewfinder, the image in the viewfinder is framed exactly as it appears on the censor or film. (no offset)

Please can somebody help me.
Got a new SE K850 on O2. With auto setting the photos taken with flash on are really dark (I am not blocking the sensor or the flash with my hand/fingers) . In fact photos taken in minimal light condition (Indoor + out door) without flash are better. Am I doing something wrong or does the flash sucks.
Will appreciate any help

Your problem is probably that the K850i uses faster shutter speeds for flash photos. Remember that the range of the flash is not very long! Probably just long enough for something you can reach with your arm and a little bit more.

@max_wedge,do you think DSLRs such as that one will always stay huge in size or will they become smaller as technology advances?possibly as small as an average mobile phone, just being a bit optimistic

You wouldn't want a DSLR to get too small. It's for a different purpose, where you need easily accessible manual control, large lenses, a big display for photo checking and decent battery life - plus the ability to add attachments.
There's little chance of the humble cameraphone ever hitting SLR sales, any more than a standard standalone digital camera is any threat. Well, actually there might be a few situations where the paps use smaller cameras to get pictures they might not otherwise get, but that's about it.
