@plankgatan,
I was confused why the second photo with EV +0.7 is darker than the first with EV +0.3. With a higher EV the second should be brighter. But I downloaded your photos and checked. The EV is actually negative.
he he..i of course mean the opposite...(i wrote wrong data..i mean -0.3 & -0.7)

in my opinion the quality of this 2 pic is very pitiable
i mean the pictures looks like they with digital zoom with tons of noise
all arround not talking on the washed colors.
face it the K850 camera quality SUCKS!!!! |

Yikes! That second one is pretty bad, but on occasion it manages to take ok indoor pics (although my S700i still owns the K850i in general quality). I do feel that the phone isn't really worthy of the Cyber-shot branding.
Feature-wise, good camera but lacking in final quality.

Just upgraded to R1DA038 and here we go: (comapre it with the previously posted same picture before upgrade...) it is my fault like a very bad photographer....still learning how to squeeze the best pics out of k850....
Also here is another one pic taken in total darkness in my room....also before fw upgrade.... no settings
By the way, do you have stabilization of picture off or on? Dafault is off.....

@Mizzle:
K850 aperture is f/2.8 and is fixed so has a shallow depth of field.
@Fredricx:
I agree that's annoying.

This level of noise at ISO125 is strange, but again NoiseWare helped:

Actually not! With the tiny lenses you have on most camera phones you can't expect much more than this. Even with the i-mobile 902 with it's 1/2.5" CCD digicam sensor, you get lots of noise if you chose ISO 100 or more. The 902's ISO 50 is a real lifesaver and gives almost noise free photos, but on the other hand slows down the shutter speeds so much that it makes shooting hand-held impossible anywhere except outdoors with clear sunny skies.
