Jupp but there is another option! Use the touch key to let the cam take focus an fire. Try it!

Yes i know but this way you cant use the "Lock focus method" you know when you press the shutter button down half-way and the cam measure the focus and locks it. This is used for controling what part of the picture / object you want to have in focus.

On this picture for example i stood up and focused on the boats and held the button half way for locking the focus and then i crouched down before i took the shot. This way the boats should be in focus and the "grass" being out of focus. If you had shot that picture with the touch button method the "grass" would be in focus instead since you dont can control that

Nice shot! I see your point, but what i meant was that you can use that method if you have shaky hands.

@LCARS-Expert

You have snow allready? And i live much more north from you.
We call those birds- talgoxe and if you translate that word for word you would get something like- tallow ox. Because we hang upp pieces of fat or lard in the trees in the wintertime for them to nibble on. So the great tit nibbles? Hmmm indeed

Lit by a single 40w bulb 60cm away and 25cm above. All setting at Auto. Flash/Stabiliser off.

Seems to take macro better shots. Tried same shot further away but details got lost (poss. fault of handshake.)

Its snowing for 2 days without stop now. This is rather early snow for this area. Usually it snows but nothing catches for the ground.
