We still have yet to receive flash support that SE has promised. And given their ad stating we could "browse any website", I'd say we were conned since most websites these days require flash for viewing and SE doesn't seem to have a care in the world about what their customers want unless it's gonna be bad publicity for them (like the case when P990 owners threatened to go to the press if they didn't release another firmware update after R6D23). Another frustrating ordeal for all UIQ3 users, you are not alone my friend. |

mode, I wouldn't blame for this.
I would blame adobe, they haven't made a flash player for the uiq3.
Take a look at this thread over at adobe: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/[....]threadid=1249923&enterthread=y

I don't think we can blame adobe, because they did not develop UIQ3. Of course they're the ones to develop it but it's not their problem that they don't see enough reason to develop it. SE should support its own platform by giving initiatives for the development of the flash player, but given their lack of ability to listen to their own customers, sluggish development of UIQ3 and short-lived support for their UIQ3 devices, I am very pessimistic that it would ever materialize |

or maybe...
these companies think UIQ3 is a failure.
just like google... i don't know if they have any plan to release google map for UIQ3 (I mean native UIQ3, not java) |

I think both sony ericsson and uiq have problems. I think SE really define a bad spec for Uiq phone. That is why the SE CEO need to step down and SE need to ask HTC to make a Window mobile phone. |

Well they have the technology and knowledge to make flash lite for UIQ3, but the issue is licensing, and this needs money. You can always do some hacking. Currently Flash Lite 3 for S60/90 v9.1 is already out. And if only some engineer care to port the software to UIQ3. |

^^ That's why there must be an open source community for UIQ developers so as to provide UIQ users with all the apps we need "open sourced!" that's why UIQ should bloom this year and when it happens that possibility is not far from reality
