That method does works on my P990i - just place the pic in the same folder as the tracks.

Download Windows media player 11
http://www.microsoft.com/wind[....]aspx?displang=en&qstechnology=

Load music into it, download a picture for the album your tagging, highlight all tracks on the album in media player, right click and select advanced tag editor, chose the picture tab then select the picture you want to use. this will add it to all the tracks you selected and should now show up on your phone.

EDIT: you may need to resize the pics you use, i use pics of 200x200 resolution and this works.

based on my experience:
- using wmp, some album art wont show up on my walkman phone and if i test using itunes sometimes it wont show up either.
- make folder and add picture, for me it will consuming time and space. i only have 3 full album on my phone, and the other 100 are singels, consuming time for me if i have to make 103 folders.
- using itunes, the best way for me to add album art on mp3.
- tips to find album art, i usually use google, write the singer n song title, if u know the album it would be better, and search in images section.

Best way is to embed the pictures into the file using something like Windows Media Player. iTunes is harder because you need an iTunes account I think.

Anyway, instructions using WMP11. Very simple, only three steps:
1) Copy an image, either from the web or just a normal image file.
2) In the library view, right click the album and select 'Paste Album Art'
3) And there you have it!

All of my albums have album art on my computer and in my WMP, but they don't show up on my k850i. How can I fix this?

complete the id tag of each your track, then transfer your tracks by Disc2Phone. You don't need to create folders manually.
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing.
