The P1i camera is really pathetic IMO - Exposure is terrible at the best of times and there is a green tinge on the right hand side of all photos on many of the phones.

Also remember that UIQ3 phones have abysmally low volume output on headset and bluetooth. That is why I returned my P1i (and P990i) as it is about half the volume of my P910i if even that. P990 and W950 all have the same low volume issue so we can assume W960 will be no different.

If you can live without a touchscreen then the N95 wins hands down!

Man, you really change a lot all the time. I remember when you just got the P1 and it was a REALLY god phone for you, and know you just trash it down all the way. Hmm, dont know if I can trust you anymore, you change like the wind. And one more thing, there is allways something better, thats life. The cam is working really god on my phone, no problem at all. But know is the time for me to try out a WM phone, the TyTN II. Going to get it tomorrow

It was good until I started using the camera and noticed the green tint and terrible photos. Once it was getting regular use I had to reboot several times a day due to lock-ups and bugs.

It's only when you start using these devices in real terms that all the problems come to the surface.

if you actually bothered to do some research rather then speculating and read peterkay's review you would notice that the volume on the w960i is VERY loud

N95 8GB for sure. It has bigger screen, better camera/camcorder, and it's the latest Symbian which has lots of applications for it. It's a multimedia monster.

dude if uve had a sony before i would strongly recommend not to go for the nokia phones.i bought wanted to upgrade from w810 to w960 but due to the negative reviews of w960 i went for n95.but it SUCKS and it SUCKS BIG TIME.
lets count the things i didnt like:
the interface SUCKS
the music player Sucks
the sound quality SUCKS
the choice of materials SUCKS
the keypad SUCKS
the slider mechanism SUCKS
the battery life SUCKS
oh and the camera is jst pathetic so in other words it SUCKS

the only decent thing about it is the video quality, its quite good but the still images....oh dont ask. my w810 captured 100 times better shots than this 5 Mpix

i think that n95 8gb wont be much different...so in my opinion go for the w960 which ill be going for in a week or so.

i think i'd choose the n95 over the w960 but the p1i over the n95.

but that is because of the type of phone i want. I would however like to challenge the view that the cam on the p1 is pathetic - i find it very good and the green tint has been fixed with a fw update (for me anyway). not in the n95's class but i have a camera for "proper" photos...
