Indeed, on my T68i (R2E006) I get 3 options when switching voice answer to ON:
- Car handsfree
- Port h-free
- Bluetooth
So I assume your T39-version doesn't have this Bluetooth-option yet. To my knowledge the latest T39 version is R4A008 (I flashed a T39 at June 24th to R4A008).

Thanks for the info, MMS. Is there any website to regularly check for firmware updates???
Pete.

I think so. Do a search on this forum. There was a guy that keeps track of the latest sw-versions. I fail to remember which url that was...

Has anyone notised that if u have activated the Bluetooth-voice answeringfunction, u got a problem when u try to answer a call normaly. Or by pressing the button on the headset.
I got a T68 R2E006 and a HBH-15...

So, to sum it up, those with the T39m and HBH-30 combination will not be able to do voice answering of calls from the headset? Coz, the OS did not have the option to select a "Bluetooth" hands-free type? Is this the correct assessment? |

It only works with the latest firmware for the T68/T68i. It does not with the T39 |

Frederick: do you have a T68i R2E006? (you mentioned T68...)
I just did a test with HBH-10: works fine ! HBH-30: also works!
I cannot confirm HBH-15 or HBH-20, since I don't have these here...
Quick summup:
I was able to answer an incoming call with my voice on 2 bluetooth headsets:
Ericsson HBH-10
SonyEricsson HBH-30
using my phone: T68i / sw-version: R2E006
See a bit further in this thread how to do this.
Especially the sw-version of the phone seems to be important...
Good luck !

I am also considering a bluetooth pc card... will I have a problem connecting to both my phone and headset at the same time or would I have to do pairing each time. Thanks |

Lowest price for HBH-30 which I've seen so far is The PhoneHouse here in The Netherlands for EURO 199 |
