But this is a standard mini-sub and that is not compitable with v800.

hmmm, reading through my review I called it a micro USB rather than mini USB so perhaps my memory is not as good as I thought...
but I was sure that when it didn't charge the phone via the USB port I did try my V3 cable (which also didn't charge it) and thats why I recall it as a mini USB

all i found is, that its a mini usb tybe B and i am pretty sure, the fone can be charged with it ( in data transfer mode ) cos i use the crad reader here sometimes and it do charges the fone
edit : i ment the card reader cable

Not sure of the product code; I don't think there is one. It's simply refered to as a 'USB Cable' in all my V800 documentation, webpages and the V800 white paper. ???
Since I lost my much loved V800 (and the 512MB MSDP inside it) all I have left is the cable and manuals. I'll send it to you if you can wait for it to arrive from New Zealand. Yes, I'm serious. PM me if interested.
