Does anybody own already a NOKIA 6120 classic?
It's the small candybar type mobile with S60 symbian.
I am really interested in getting it and it seems to be a really good device. at least considering the price we have to pay for it.

If somebody owns one it would be nice to hear about first impressions like what's good or not very..
thanks a lot guys

Its your regular symbian in a small, decent looking form factor and design.

i played with it a bit, when it came out about 3 weeks ago here. the batt is weak imo and i didnt liked the screen. keypad is ok ( at least for my taste ) , but at the end it looks and feel at usage a bit cheap imo. if u are after a symbian, rather take an e or n series imo.

it's a very fast S60 phone using the new freescale platform with the robust 369MHz ARM11 proccessor (just for comparison SE P1 proccessor is only 208MHz!), but still looks even cheaper than it really is, we had a lot of user experience at Mobile-Review forum, and detailed user reviews, I'll post them here once MR's forum is back online.

When you say fast, are we talking S40 fast or just fast compared to other S60's?
My opinions on this forum are that of my own and not of the company I work for. |

i would say the camera is better in W810i. It's the same (or maybe better due to improvements in firmware etc.) like in the K750i that i have. the 6120 does not have autofocus and is similar to other nokia cams without autofocus. but video should be much better because it records in QVGA compared to micro-size videos sony ericsson can produce.
if you're into photography i would go for other devices anyway, but if you just want to take some pics to look at them on the phone then 6120 is good enough.
check the links in the posts above from mobile-review. some users have sample pics. if you like those pics, then you know what to expect. for W810i just check some k750i threads with pics. |

as much as i understood it's way faster than usual S60 phones and definitely in the speed area of S40 phones if not even better. the only other S60 phone which apparently is also as fast as 6120 is the N76. i've read in some reviews, that there's practically no lag when opening menus and applications. i've tried it yesterday in a nokia shop and it really is very fast. try opening a messaging application and you will see that it opens instantly. i had a nokia 6600 and friends own various N-series phones and it takes way too long to open. i owned a p990i from SE which i immediately sold again. when you opened the messaging application, you could drink an espresso while waiting... |

I reckon it is quite good, but if it has the 6300 cam module, then forget it.
