hi everyone...

i noticed a behaviour on my p1i thats very annoying. when the phone is in idle, meaning haven't been using it for a period of time, the phone won't make and recieve calls. this happened several times today. it is very annoying as what is the sense of having a cellphoone if i cant make/recieve calls? the only way to correct this is to restart the phone.
cda version is 87.
i am reinstalling the OS as i speak. update service says my phone has the latest software, but i went ahead and reinstall. hope everything will be fixed.
anyone having the same issues?

I've got the 87 version and I'm not experiencing this issue.

Have you installed anything or are you running anything that might be causing this?

and by the way, when i turn on my bluetooth and turn it off, next time i turn it on, i cant connect to anything. had to restart my phone.

hmm. I often turn my BT on and off and also without that issue

since we're probably running the same firmware it does like something else is affecting your phone

no idea where it is from. Mine P1 came from Hong Kong but it doesn't have the chinese symbols on the keys and the only language choice was English.

I got my M600 from the same place and it was world generic 2 so I'm not sure what to make of 87 until the first firmware update comes along.

Perhaps a master reset is the quickest solution for you to try

Not a solution to your problem but a faster way to make your phone start working again is to turn on flight mode and then turn it off again instead of restarting the phone.
