I'm not sure if anyone has seen this but there is now a plugin for FAR that allows access to K800. I've only just downloaded it and started testing and have been able to read file system and backup my accoustics (K800 CID52). Now the fun begins. I found the driver at http://forums.se-nse.net/inde[....]de=threaded&start=#entry148491

Well, looks like it doesn't copy from phone. Maybe you can only copy to phone.

Possibly - pending testing. I've got to go home now but will try to experiment tonight. I'd love to be able to get the camera driver and accoustics fixed.

Indeed it is still write-only.

But it's better than nothing!

guys at se-nse have done so. I'll be replacing my acoustics tonight with W880 acoustics for testing.

I'm using XS++ at the moment for FSX operations. Really need to back up my FS though before I get too gungho. I also need to read out my menu.ml file before I replace it with a custom version

@max

the prob with XS++ is that there are no K810 on the CID dropdown menu.. thats why i cannot push thru... wot do you think?!

I've tried the W850 accoustics and can not notice any difference. I have to wonder what the .AEC files are? It's a shame you can't copy files off the phone as I would be far more adventurous if I could backup files

Hmm, hard to say rocky, you might brick gdfs. Probably K810 support will come soon, is it cid52 or later?

I've read that the W880 accoustics are louder and slightly better quality, but like you I'm hoping that mongoose will get excited about the new FS access and mod the drivers like he did last time.

@mongoose, I hear ya, I have the concern. I'm keen to get stuff off or changed on my cell but not wanting to lose any original files!

You can apply the no-bruteforce hack with far manager and use that to copy files from your phone. It takes a little longer, but it works

Also, you can download a copy of your phone's FS and extract it and use that as a backup.
